Report from Susie Hollis
Last March I had the pleasure of spending some time with the students from Chances4Cambodia in Phnom Penh, helping them with their conversational English.
I am from a banking background and the students are doing finance studies at the University there so we had something in common.
We enjoyed lengthy discussions on banking in Australia and how things work there. Also we had discussions on such things as Human Rights, which the students were very interested in.
I found their English to be quite good and their written English excellent. They are great students who study and work hard to achieve their goals.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with this great bunch of young people, who are the future of this lovely country.
Keep up the good work at University and I wish you every success for your future.
Good luck and thank you for having me in your country.
I love Cambodia and will return soon.
